Vision Enhancement
Most driving decisions are based on what the driver can see. In daylight, forward visibility is usually adequate, provided the weather is clear. Night time driving, on the other hand, can be challenging. Adaptive Headlights turn their beams around each curve in the road, giving the driver a better view of what is ahead. Night vision systems further improve night-time visibility beyond what can be seen with conventional headlights by using night imaging technology.
Lane Support
Lane Support Systems can assist and warn you when you unintentionally leave the road lane. Sometimes a moment of inattention is enough to make your vehicle stray from its lane. The systems continuously monitors the position of the vehicle in the road lane: Lane Departure Warning warns you if the car unintentionally wanders from the path; Lane Keeping Support helps you to correct the course of your car.
This technology was introduced in the Overall Rating in 2014.
